Chadar Program – Empowering Widowed Women & Supporting Their Daughters’ Future
At IIWS, we believe in empowering women so they can stand on their own feet with dignity and confidence. The Chadar Program is designed to provide long-term financial assistance, essential support, and sustainable empowerment opportunities for widowed women, ensuring they are not left dependent on charity alone.
Our Vision
Our vision goes beyond temporary aid—we equip widowed women with vocational training, skill development, and financial independence, enabling them to build a stable future for themselves and their families.
Key Initiatives of the Chadar Program:

Financial Empowerment & Self-Sufficiency
We provide vocational training, small business support, and financial aid, allowing widowed women to earn a respectable livelihood rather than relying on short-term assistance.
Marriage Support for Daughters
No daughter should feel abandoned due to financial hardship. The Chadar Program ensures that the daughters of widowed mothers receive comprehensive marriage support, including essential household items and financial aid, so they can start their new lives with dignity and confidence.
Collective Marriages (Mass Wedding Program)
To ease the financial burden on struggling families, IIWS organizes collective marriage ceremonies where multiple daughters from widowed and underprivileged families are married in a respectful and honorable manner. The estimated cost per bride is PKR 250,000, covering: Wedding attire and basic dowry essentials Simple but dignified ceremony arrangements Meals for guests
Essential Supplies & Monthly Assistance
IWS provides regular financial aid and essential household supplies to widowed families, ensuring they live with honor and security.
